Location: WA
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 12 shifts per month
Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine coverage in a critical access hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat a broad range of emergency presentations and procedures
Document patient care using the EMR
Clinical Scope Highlights
Annual emergency department volume: 18,000
Emergency department beds: 8
Low-acuity environment; admission rate approximately 5%
Required Qualifications
Active Washington medical license or ability to obtain
Active DEA with a Washington address covering schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
