Job description:
The Manager, Finance & Accounting will oversee core accounting activities, including the general ledger, monthly close, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This highly visible role will also partner across the organization to improve processes, strengthen efficiencies, and support the overall finance function.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage core accounting functions, including general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and the monthly financial close.
- Support preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, and related reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor reconciliations and contracts, and support payroll tax compliance, tax payments, and statutory filings.
- Manage and develop accounting staff while ensuring strong internal controls, financial compliance, and accurate reporting.
- Support external audits, ERP processes, automation initiatives, and process improvements across the finance function.

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with 58 years of progressive accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and financial software.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple accounting functions and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
