Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician

• Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry opportunity
• Patient population: ages 3-18
• Average daily census: 10 patients
• Locum provider will round on the inpatient floor
• Support team includes 1 MD and 2 NPs
• EPIC EMR

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts
• No call schedule specified

Coverage Dates:

• November 30-December 4
• December 28-January 1
• January 11-15
• January 25-29
• February 22-26
• March 8-12

• Inpatient psychiatric setting
• Pediatric and adolescent patients, ages 3-18
• Average census of 10
• Common diagnoses include:
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • Personality disorders
  • Defiant behavior
  • Suicidal ideation/behavior
• Provider will primarily round on the inpatient unit
• EMR: Epic

• Board certification required
• Active Massachusetts (MA) medical license required
• BLS required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Candidates requiring a new state license will not be considered
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
