Hours: Monday-Thursday (8-hour shifts) + Friday (half day)
Outpatient
Volume: 12-15 patients/day (daily census 15)
Support staff: RNs, CMA, Physician
Key skills/duties: Recent experience with and comfort managing HIV patients (required), In-office physical assessments; review history; interpret diagnostics, Preventive screenings based on age/history/needs, Patient and family education on conditions, treatment, follow-up, Accurate documentation of all patient care, Office-based specialty procedures per guidelines, Identify and implement outpatient specialty care improvements
EMR: Epic
Certifications: BC, BLS, Master's in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies, NC license, DEA, Valid NC RN plus NP or Nurse Midwife license, Valid NC PA license; NCCPA board certified within 1 year of hire
NP/Midwife: ANCC, NCC, AMCB, AANP, or PNCB
PA: NCCPA (within 1 year if not already certified)
Experience: Minimum 3+ years; recent HIV care experience required
Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
