Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures

Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention protocols

Assist surgeons and operating room staff throughout surgical procedures

Anticipate surgical team needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies

Perform surgical counts in collaboration with nursing staff

Assist with room turnover and preparation for upcoming procedures

Ensure patient safety and compliance with established surgical protocols
Qualifications:

Surgical Technology education or equivalent qualifying training

Knowledge of sterile technique and operating room procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
