This is a great opportunity for a Surgical Technologist looking to gain experience in a collaborative operating room environment. The position is located near the beautiful South Carolina coast, approximately 25 minutes from North Myrtle Beach!

On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response requirement
Responsibilities
-
Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
-
Assist surgeons throughout surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
-
Ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use
-
Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping
-
Perform surgical counts and participate in patient safety verification procedures
-
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
-
Assist with specimen handling and preparation
-
Support operating room cleaning, turnover, and restocking between procedures
-
Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
-
Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
-
Current BLS certification
-
0 3 years of experience
-
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
