Mechanical Assembly Team Lead
Starting pay rate $20/hr
Plano, TX 75074
Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, with at least 1 years in a leadership or lead role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Experience training, mentoring, and leading assembly team members.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Forklift and overhead crane certification (if applicable).
- Experience working in a fast paced production manufacturing environment.
- Technical certification in mechanical assembly or industrial maintenance.
