Opportunity Overview- Annual volume: with 26,500 visits per year and a 12% admission rate, the ED offers a moderate pace with the chance to handle a variety of cases, providing both challenge and opportunities for professional growth
- 23 ED beds: the department is appropriately sized, allowing for efficient management of patients without overwhelming the staff
- Physician and APC coverage: with 24 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage, the team is well-supported, ensuring balanced workloads and collaborative care
- EMR: the department uses Cerner, with Dragon dictation, which enhances workflow and efficiency
