Franzenburg KC is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our growing team.
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and assembling industrial centrifuges and related components. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure, and assemble industrial centrifuges and related components.
- Follow blueprints, technical manuals, work instructions, and established procedures.
- Inspect parts for wear, damage, and proper fit, reporting concerns to management.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, measurements, and repair records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and priorities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with additional shop operations and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, equipment repair, or a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical instructions.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical work throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20 to 80 pounds, using team or mechanical assistance when appropriate.
- Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
