Job Title: Receptionist/Pharmacy Technician
Reports To: Pharmacy Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Pharmacy
Summary: Assists Pharmacist in fast-paced long term care pharmacy by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and refer inquiries to appropriate party.
• Maintain security by following procedures.
• Initiate calls as needed for business purposes.
• Sorts and disburses in-coming and out-going mail.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal law.
• Assist with accurate and timely prescription processing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Assist customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
