Job description:
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and attentive nanny to provide weekday care for a 2-year-old child in a private home in Glassboro, NJ.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with toddlers and is looking for a consistent daytime schedule.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
7:00 AM-1:00 PM
Approximately 30 hours per week
Pay
$17-$20 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for one 2-year-old child
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Assist with diaper changes and toddler hygiene
- Engage in age-appropriate play, reading, learning activities, and outdoor activities when appropriate
- Follow the child's established meal and nap routines
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
- Clean up toys, dishes, and areas used during the shift
- Communicate with the family regarding meals, naps, activities, and any concerns
Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for toddlers strongly preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Patient, caring, and attentive
- Reliable transportation to Glassboro, NJ
- Comfortable working independently in a private home
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Non-smoker
