Luxor Staffing is hiring Sit Down Forklift Operator paying up to $18.75 per hour with 2nd and 3rd shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
- 2nd shift - 2pm-10pm Tuesday-Saturday (must be able to work weekends)
- 3rd Shift - 10pm-6am Monday-Friday (must be able to work weekends)
Responsibilities
- Operate clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Safely handle materials using appropriate equipment such as crane systems and RF scanners for inventory management
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and ensuring proper storage
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and materials handling safety standards
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Prior experience in construction or industrial environments is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
