Opportunity Highlights

  • Long-term assignment (6+ months)
  • Approximately 10 shifts per month
  • 24-hour hospitalist shifts
  • Startup program with the opportunity to help establish and support a growing service line
  • Single-physician coverage model
  • EMR information will be provided during the interview process

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
  • Labor & Delivery management
  • Emergency obstetrical care
  • Inpatient OB/GYN consultations
  • Surgical support as needed
  • Collaborate with the hospital care team to provide high-quality patient care

Program Details

  • Approximately 364 annual deliveries
  • Approximately 364 annual surgeries
  • Level IIE NICU
  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) program onsite
  • No Maternal Fetal Medicine physician onsite; consultation is readily available by phone

Requirements

  • Board Certified OB/GYN
  • Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN experience
  • Comfortable working 24-hour hospitalist shifts
  • Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) physicians are encouraged to apply
