Locums - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Urology Job (IMLC Accepted)

Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule & Coverage:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
1-hour lunch break
Mix of hospital rounds, operating room, and clinic coverage
No nighttime or weekend call
Coverage needed for approximately 6 weeks each month (please confirm this coverage requirement)
When covering daytime hospital call, responsibilities include rounding, consultations, OR cases, and occasional clinic add-ons; no templated clinic time is scheduled during hospital coverage
Practice Details:
Urology clinic with recent renovations
9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms
73-bed hospital
Patient population: Adults; no pediatric patients
Minimum 14 patients per day
New patient visits: Up to 30 minutes
Postoperative visits: 15 minutes
EMR: Epic - clinic-based Epic experience required
Support staff:
3 medical assistants
1 LPN
Surgical scheduler
3 front office staff
Practice manager
Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures:
Provide general urology care in clinic and hospital settings
Perform hospital rounds and consultations
Provide OR coverage
Perform ureteroscopies
Support occasional daytime hospital consults while assigned to clinic coverage
Qualifications & Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC accepted
Active state DEA
Minimum 3 years of experience
Clinic-based Epic experience required
