Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Job description

  • Assignment Length: Coverage needed ASAP-10/11, 10/16-10/31, 11/09-11/24, and 12/01-12/15
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 30 patients
  • EMR: Meditech, Patient Keeper, eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Requirements: Board Certified PA-C preferred; APRN considered; active FL license or eligibility; BLS, ACLS, and DEA (if applicable)
  • Core Skills: Cardiothoracic surgery experience, surgical first assist, endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), CABG, valve procedures, aortic surgery, thoracic surgery, inpatient consults, rounding, perioperative and postoperative management
  • Setting: Hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery service with 24-hour call coverage
  • Support: Collaboration with Trauma Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, and Radiology
  • Credentialing: Expedited start available for qualified providers
