Build the Future of Outpatient Brain Injury Medicine

Rincon Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is seeking a fellowship-trained Physiatrist or Neurologist specializing in Brain Injury Medicine to join its growing multidisciplinary organization.

This is a rare opportunity to build a meaningful career focused entirely on traumatic brain injury, post-concussive conditions, and complex neurological rehabilitation without hospital call or the traditional prior-authorization burdens found in many clinical environments.

The incoming physician will be based in Sacramento and travel regularly to established clinic locations throughout California and Nevada. Additional travel may be required as Rincon enters new markets. Administrative support will be provided for obtaining and maintaining additional state medical licenses.

This role offers more than an outpatient clinical practice. The physician will help shape a growing brain injury program, collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines, and develop valuable expertise at the intersection of medicine and law.

About Rincon Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Rincon is one of the nation s most comprehensive and technologically advanced specialty practices focused on traumatic brain injury and complex neurological rehabilitation.

Founded by Christopher Stephenson, MD, a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine, Rincon combines innovative diagnostics, multidisciplinary collaboration, and individualized treatment to help patients recover from life-altering injuries.

Rincon currently operates in California and Nevada and is actively preparing for continued expansion throughout the western United States.

The organization s multidisciplinary model brings together:
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Neurology.
  • Neuropsychology.
  • Psychiatry.
  • Speech therapy.
  • Additional rehabilitation and behavioral-health specialists.
The result is a coordinated environment where physicians can focus on meaningful clinical care while working closely with professionals who understand the complexities of brain injury recovery.
