Locums - Fargo, North Dakota, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job (IMLC Accepted)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Schedule:
Weekdays preferred
Ideally 3-4 24-hour shifts per month
Minimum of 24 hours off between shifts
In-house call coverage
Required call response time: 30 minutes
Assigned and unassigned patients
Providers must be available to cover at least 50% of the listed open shifts to be considered for submission
Scheduling may be adjusted to accommodate travel for providers covering individual dates
Open Shifts:
November 2026: November 20, 23-29
December 2026: December 3, 8, 14, 23-31
January 2027: January 1-3
Facility Details:
Level II Trauma Center
16 labor, delivery, and postpartum rooms
1 dedicated OB operating room
Approximately 120 deliveries per month
Physicians perform approximately 65% of all deliveries
EMR: Epic
Hospital is stroke certified
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage
Manage assigned and unassigned patients
Perform vaginal births after cesarean (VBACs) and C-sections
Collaborate with midwives and other members of the care team
Qualifications & Requirements:
ABMS- or AOA-board-certified OB/GYN
Fellowship required
Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC accepted
Must be comfortable working with a midwife
Must be comfortable performing VBACs and C-sections
Epic experience strongly preferred
