Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist to provide ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) screenings across three NICU locations in El Paso, Texas. This is an inpatient-focused opportunity working with newborn patients in a NICU setting. Position Highlights

Specialty: Pediatric Ophthalmology (ROP Screening)
Practice Setting: Inpatient NICU coverage
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No call required
Approximately 65 patients per day
Coverage across three NICU locations
Nursing support available in the NICU
Patient population: Newborns (ages 0-1)

Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Active Texas medical license required
- Experience performing ROP screenings in NICU settings preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
This is an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist seeking short-term inpatient NICU coverage focused on ROP screening services
