- Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM onsite (No call, no weekends)
Note: Tuesday & Friday start at 8:00 AM due to scheduled team conferences. Partial days may be permitted with availability to approve admissions via computer.
Rate: Submit Best Rate (Hourly)
Clinical Scope & Facility Overview:
- Setting: 100% Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (20 beds; Adult Rehab)
- Reason for Coverage: Physiatrist Vacation
- Patient Load: patients/day on the unit
- Daily Responsibilities: Rounding, consults, face-to-face patient care (patients must be seen face-to-face within 24 hours of admission), PAPE/H&P, IPOCs, weekly care plan documentation, discharge summaries, and pre-admission screening reviews per CMS guidelines.
- Prescheduled Team Conferences: Mondays (8:30 AM), Wednesdays (8:30 AM), Fridays (11:00 AM)
- EMR: Cerner
- Facility Support: Level III Trauma Center, 24-hour Lab, 24-hour Anesthesia Department
Submission Requirements (Must be met at time of presentation):
- Board Certification: BC in PM&R required (No Board Eligible)
- Licensure: Active MI State License required at time of clear (IMLC not accepted)
- Locality: Must be a local provider (Client restriction: no exceptions
