Position Details: One provider needed for weekend trauma call coverage; inpatient and emergency department setting; approximately 4 5 callback hours per 24-hour shift, with up to 8 hours onsite; approximately 95% adult and 5% pediatric patients; full Friday-to-Monday coverage required with no exceptions; credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients
Setting: Inpatient and Emergency Department; Level III trauma hospital
Responsibilities: Provide weekend urology trauma call coverage, emergency department consultations, inpatient consultations, and general urologic care
Required Procedures: General adult and pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy with ileal loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence management
EMR System: Epic; mandatory training must be completed before the first shift
Support Staff: RNs, APPs, onsite anesthesia, onsite laboratory, and X-ray services
Days Per Month: Every weekend, Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call coverage every weekend; full coverage stretch is mandatory

Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Urology - Required
- Active Colorado license or active IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand at name clear - Required
- Active BLS, DEA, clean malpractice/background, and NPDB Self-Query pulled within the month - Required
- Specific availability from January 25 April 30, 2027
