Orthopedic Surgery Physician Requirements
- At least 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience
- Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery; board certification is required by the practice setting
- Active Arizona medical license
- Current DEA registration
- NPDB report and case logs dated at least 2 years old
- Clinical expertise in arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision or repair
- Experience with hip, knee, shoulder, and other applicable joint procedures
- Additional experience in hand surgery, tendon repair, peripheral nerve surgery, spinal procedures, or percutaneous disc surgery is preferred
Orthopedic Surgery Physician Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of orthopedic conditions
- Perform arthroscopic procedures and total joint replacements, including hip, knee, and other joint replacements
- Perform joint revisions and repairs involving the shoulder, hip, knee, and other joints
- Provide surgical consultation, preoperative evaluation, postoperative management, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records, procedure documentation, and case logs
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
