A hospital in the Gainesville, FL area is looking for a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join its respiratory care team!

Opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations

Both RRT and CRT candidates considered
Responsibilities:
-
Assess patients and provide respiratory treatments as prescribed
-
Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators
-
Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies
-
Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
-
Monitor patient responses and communicate findings to the healthcare team
-
Maintain accurate documentation and follow respiratory care protocols
Qualifications:
-
Current Florida respiratory therapy license required
-
NBRC RRT or CRT credential required
-
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
-
ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or other critical care experience preferred
-
Home care and long-term care experience may also be considered
-
Current BLS certification required
-
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 30 days of employment
