This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project construction, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest standard of quality. You will be working with a team of professionals and will be the main point of contact for on-site operations. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and internal team members. Responsibilities: 1. Supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and ensuring all safety and quality control standards are met. 2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. 3. Review work progress daily, maintain regular communication with the project team, and provide updates on project status. 4. Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. 5. Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. 6. Develop and implement quality control programs, initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. 7. Coordinate with architects and engineers to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role with a General Contractor. 2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and applicable safety standards. 3. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing construction projects. 4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. 6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance. 7. Proficient in MS Office and construction management software. 8. Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. 10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
