Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Locations: East Wareham, MA & Fall River, MA

Description
We are seeking locum providers (PA, NP, or APRN) for outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) coverage at its East Wareham and Fall River, Massachusetts locations.

Compensation

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct MAT intakes

• Perform medication dose adjustments

• Complete annual physicals

Qualifications

• Provider type: PA, NP, or APRN

• Board certification: Preferred, not required

• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications: Preferred, not required

• Suboxone certification: Not required

• Experience may be accepted in place of fellowship

Working Hours

• Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM

• East Wareham: Start ASAP

• Fall River: Locum coverage needed

• On-call schedule listed as Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM

Patient & Clinical Details

• Patient load: 8 15 per day

• Patient types: New and existing

• Patient ages:

• Medications: Methadone, Buprenorphine, LAIB, and long-acting Naltrexone

• Case load: No fixed caseload; appointments scheduled as needed

• Setting: Outpatient MAT

• Trauma level: Mild

Support & Systems

• Support staff available

• An MD may be onsite on some dates

• EMR: SMART
