Manager - Finance, Global Transportation

Location: Onsite, four days per week - Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Under the direction of the Director - Finance, Global Supply Chain, provide financial support Global Transportation - including inbound freight, customer delivery, and interplant freight. This includes yearly financial plan and monthly forecasting as well as owning the analysis for different strategic transportation projects.
Specific Responsibilities
- Own the global transportation forecasting, annual operating plan, and long-range strategic planning processes.
- Lead monthly forecasting activities for North America and support global transportation planning requirements across business units.
- Consolidate, analyze, and communicate transportation financial performance against plan, forecast, and prior year results.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations for supply chain and finance leadership.
- Serve as the lead finance business partner for Transportation, Distribution, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership teams.
- Support transportation sourcing events, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations through financial analysis and modeling.
- Develop scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to assess impacts from market conditions, fuel trends, customer demand changes, and network redesign activities.
- Identify transportation cost drivers, risks, and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct other special studies and projects under the direction of the Director - Finance, Global Supply Chain.
Skills/Requirements
- A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting or Finance is a minimum requirement.
- Strong communication ability with which to contact broad organizational levels in a financial and managerial capacity.
- Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Excel, and BPC is preferred.
