Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan
- Provide urgent care services, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications: - Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
- Valid state RN and APRN licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Work Schedule: - Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Rotating shifts between family practice and urgent care
