OB/GYN Physician Full-Scope Women s Health Location: Fort Myers, FL
Compensation: $350,000 $410,000 per year
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Shared call schedule with physician colleagues)
Position Overview A growing hospital-affiliated Obstetrics & Gynecology practice in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to join a collaborative, full-scope women s health team. This opportunity offers an even 50/50 balance of obstetric and gynecologic care within a busy practice environment supported by physicians and advanced practice providers.
The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient women s healthcare, including obstetric care, gynecologic services, procedures, and surgical care. The role includes hospital-based deliveries, surgical services, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and oversight and mentorship of advanced practice providers.
Key Responsibilities - Provide full-scope Obstetrics & Gynecology care with an approximate 50/50 split between OB and GYN services.
- Manage prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and routine/high-risk obstetric patients.
- Perform comprehensive gynecologic evaluations, procedures, and surgical services.
- Participate in gynecologic procedures including colposcopy, LEEP, office hysteroscopy, and other outpatient procedures.
- Perform or assist with gynecologic surgeries and cesarean deliveries as appropriate.
- Interpret obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds (AIUM certification preferred or obtainable within the first several months of employment).
- Supervise and collaborate with certified nurse midwives and other advanced practice providers.
- Participate in a shared call schedule with physician colleagues.
- Provide care across hospital and outpatient settings while maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with nursing, surgical, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements Required Skills: - MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
