We are seeking a
PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team in
Inverness, Florida. This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and improve mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury-prevention techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation
Qualifications:
- Doctorate (DPT) or Master's (MPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Florida PT license or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- PRN position with flexible, as-needed scheduling based on facility needs
- Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health
