FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level III
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo)
  • Drain placement; renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT). Biliary stents.
  • Thoracentesis and paracentesis
  • Dialysis procedures in Cath lab.
  • Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases.
  • Rare embolization procedures; GI and other bleeding.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Other Qualifications: Fellowship trained in IR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations for inpatient and outpatient cases.
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and dialysis procedures.
  • Cover weekdays on-site from 7am to 3pm, with no call or weekend duties.
  • Manage occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases.
  • Handle rare embolization procedures such as GI and other bleeding cases.
