Client is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician. Physician will be responsible for the evaluation of patients presenting themselves to the Emergency Department.
Double Coverage (Fast Track) Physicians must be BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience ED Attending Physician must be BC/ BE in Emergency Medicine by ABEM or AOBEM.
Client is a 98-bed hospital located in beautiful southeastern Ohio. The hospital is supported by both independent and employed physicians in a wide range of the clinical specialties that include but are not limited to; Hospitalist, Oncology, Pulmonary/Critical care, General and Vascular surgery, Urology, ENT, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Family Practice.Client is nationally recognized for both patient experience and patient safety by being named a top hospital for patient experience by Healthgrades and for earning an A rating by Leapfrog for patient safety.
Hospitalist services are available 24 hours a day and full diagnostic services are also available 24 hours a day. The hospital has a 12% admission rate. There is a broad pathology mix that includes trauma and approximately 25% pediatrics. The emergency department is active in EMS and employs the local EMS coordinator. Staff physicians are involved in multiple hospital committees including medical executive, patient care, trauma and disaster.
