Job Summary:
We are seeking an Occupational Health Physician to provide high-quality care focused on employee health, workplace safety, and injury management. This is an outpatient-based role with a predictable weekday schedule, offering an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking strong work-life balance while still practicing meaningful, hands-on medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
- Perform pre-employment, post-offer, and annual physical examinations
- Conduct return-to-work and fitness-for-duty evaluations
- Manage workers compensation cases, including documentation and care coordination
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace health regulations
- Collaborate with employers, case managers, and safety teams
- Support workplace health initiatives and injury prevention programs
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an active and unrestricted California license
- Board certified or board eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, or primary care preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Monday Friday schedule
- Minimal to no call responsibilities
