Overview In this role you will lead client engagements for health benefits strategies, delivering financial projections and plan design optimization within Marsh's Actuarial and Financial Consulting team. You'll act as the primary financial contact for clients, guide analysts, and help shape solutions to improve health and welfare programs. The position combines sophisticated analytics with direct client interaction and opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools. Responsibilities- Lead client engagements on health and welfare underwriting, including financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, and benchmarking
- Review analyses performed by junior staff to ensure actuarial accuracy and support development
- Perform and review complex cost projections using Excel, SAS, and related software
- Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and recommended solutions
- Manage day-to-day client interactions and guide junior team members in client management
- Assist senior colleagues in business development and responses to proposals
- Contribute to intellectual capital and expand knowledge of health insurance actuarial services
Key requirements- BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in actuarial field with health and benefits consulting experience
- Progress toward ASA designation
