Locums - Massena, New York, Cardiology Job
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6-9 months
Coverage Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month
On-call coverage from 4:00 PM-8:00 AM as needed to fill coverage gaps
Hospital consult service rotation
Practice Details:
Solo cardiology practice
An APP is currently onsite but is expected to leave at the end of September
Outpatient clinic approximately 3 days per week
Supervision of stress tests approximately 1 day per week
Inpatient consultations and stress lab responsibilities
Cardiac imaging interpretation required
Epic experience required
Clinical Responsibilities:
Read and interpret cardiac imaging studies
Provide outpatient cardiology care
Supervise cardiac stress tests
Manage inpatient cardiology consultations
Participate in the hospital consult service rotation
Read the nuclear portion of stress tests as needed to support other providers who interpret nuclear studies; preferred but not required
Qualifications & Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active New York medical license
5 years of experience preferred
Epic experience required
