- Day Shift (7a - 3p) + Weeknight Beeper Call: October 26-29
- Schedule Details: Day Shift (7a - 3p) + Weeknight Beeper Call; 24-Hour Call (7a - 7a)
- Procedures: Temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, Aline placement
- Certifications Needed: ACLS; BLS; DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
- Patient Population/Case Load: 10-15 CVICU/step down patients per day, plus 1-2 surgeries
- EMR in Use: Cerner
- Requirements: 3 years minimum experience in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH, Graduate from a university program approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Master's Degree in Nursing, Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Certified or Eligible for licensing as a Physician Assistant in Arizona state, ACLS and BLS or Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, Completion of RN/NP First Assistant Program, Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification.
