Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Join a respected teaching hospital's Critical Care Unit (CCU) as a Nurse Practitioner. This locum tenens role involves a dynamic schedule with both day and night shifts, offering flexibility for weekend coverage. • Setting: Inpatient ICU
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including 4 weekend shifts per month (Fri, Sat, or Sun)
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Boston, MA

• Round with an attending physician in the morning and afternoon
• Act as a responding clinician without performing procedures
• Oversee typical bread and butter ICU and Med Surg cases
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide acute care

• Board certification in Acute Care
• Valid MA state license (immediate start, no licensing wait)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in critical care
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
• DEA registration

• Scheduled for rotating shifts, including weekends
• Minimum 2 weekend shifts per month, primarily covering Fri, Sat, or Sun nights

• Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to work in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
• Effective problem-solving skills in critical care scenarios
