Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Chambersburg, PA.

Schedule

• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Full-time coverage preferred (minimum 3 days/week)
• 1 week/month call rotation (weekends + nights, light volume)
• Ongoing assignment with schedule built well in advance

Clinical Details

• Outpatient-focused with some inpatient consults
• Average 15 patients per day (mix of new consults and follow-ups)
• Adult population; 2/3 oncology, 1/3 hematology
• Community oncology cases (lung, breast, prostate, colorectal)
• No inpatient chemo; infusion handled in clinic setting

Support

• Team-based environment with NP support and virtual hematologist
• Access to infusion centers, tumor boards, and radiation oncology coordination
• Not a solo role; strong collaborative structure
• EMR/Dictation: EPIC & Nuance
