Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) - Cardiothoracic Surgery in Myrtle Beach, SCMyrtle BeachQualifications
- Graduated from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
- Have a South Carolina license or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting
- 2 or more years' experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures
- Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care
- Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus
- Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required
Position Responsibilities- APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic
- Expected call schedule of 1:3
Requirements- BC/BE - must be BC within 5 years of completing training
- Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
- No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
- Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
