Medical Director Outpatient Clinic

A well-established outpatient clinic in California is hiring a full-time Physician Medical Directors and Urgent Care/Occ Med physicians to lead clinical operations.

This role blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, all within a weekday schedule, no nights, weekends, or holidays.

What You ll Do

• Deliver patient care in an urgent care and occupational medicine setting
• Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Oversee care quality, workflow optimization, and clinic performance
• Collaborate with therapists, staff, and leadership on clinical strategy
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and payers
• Play an active role in staffing decisions, onboarding, and team culture

What You ll Need

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California license
• DEA license and dispensing license (required before start date)
• FMCSA NRCME certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Eligibility to participate in Medicare
• Board certification or eligibility preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
