Job Description
Responsible for safely operating reach trucks and stand-up Raymond forklifts to move, stack, retrieve, and store products and pallets throughout a warehouse or distribution center. Ensures accurate inventory movement, follows safety procedures, and meets daily productivity goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and stand-up Raymond forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and stage pallets in designated warehouse locations.
- Retrieve and store products in high-rack storage areas.
- Replenish picking locations and move inventory as directed.
- Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and verify product labels.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a reach truck and stand-up Raymond forklift.
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Forklift certification or employer authorization, as required.
Work Environment
- Warehouse or distribution center.
- May include day, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
- Frequent standing, walking, and operation of powered industrial trucks.
- Must follow all company safety policies.
