We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for an 84-day assignment in New York. The successful candidate will provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, typically in minimum 7-day stretches, including weekend call supported by a CNM. This role involves managing emergency deliveries, C-sections, circumcisions, and emergency gynecological surgeries for non-high-risk cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, often in minimum 7-day stretches.
- Manage weekend call coverage, typically supported by a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) on first call.
- Perform emergency deliveries for cases 36 weeks and above.
- Conduct C-Sections and circumcisions.
- Execute emergency gynecological surgeries including torsions, ectopics, and D&C procedures.
- Adhere to a program C-section rate of less than 30%.
- Refer all high-risk deliveries to the main campus.
