Join a busy Iowa facility as a locum tenens OB/GYN, delivering obstetric and gynecologic care to support ongoing patient needs. This role involves providing hands-on clinical care, participating in labor and delivery coverage, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered services.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of OB/GYN conditions.
• Perform procedures and surgeries within granted privileges and scope of practice.
• Provide labor and delivery coverage as scheduled by the facility.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation and follow facility policies.
• Communicate and coordinate care with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology, per facility requirements.
• Active Iowa medical license or eligibility for licensure; IMLC accepted if applicable.
• Current DEA registration (as required).
• Required certifications and credentials for the scope of practice and facility privileges.
