Job description

  • Start: ASAP
  • Coverage through May 28, 2027
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Scheduled clinical hours only
  • No call
  • Inpatient setting
  • Approximately 14-16 patients per shift
  • Follow-up to new evaluation ratio: approximately 10:1
  • EMR: Epic
  • Provider will deliver and supervise medical and physical care for Kaiser Permanente members admitted to psychiatric hospitals
  • Responsibilities include psychotherapeutic methods, medication management, and treatment plan development
  • Works closely with treatment team members, pharmacy, and hospital staff
  • Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatry, Active Georgia license, ACLS, BLS required
  • Previous inpatient psychiatric experience, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Board Certification preferred
  • Estimated credentialing: 30 days
