Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a busy ED with strong APP support and a diverse patient population. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Nights are required.

• Specialty: Emergency Medicine

• Annual ED Volume: 24,000 visits

• ED Beds: 12

• Fast Track: 5 beds

• Physician Coverage: 24 hours daily

• NP/PA Coverage: 20-24 hours daily

• EMR: Cerner

• Nights: Required

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

• Must be board certified within 5 years of residency

• Recent graduates accepted

• AAPS/ABPS board certification accepted

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license

• Active NC DEA with NC address

• DEA must include Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV & V

• Active CSR, if required by the state

• Candidates must have their actual state license, board certification, and active DEA/CSR in hand to be presented

• ACLS, PALS & ATLS required if not ABEM boarded

• ACLS and/or ATLS preferred for ABEM-certified physicians, but not required

• Comfortable with all requested privileges outlined in the Delineation of Privileges (DOP)

• Case Logs: Documentation from the past 2 years OR completed Activity Verification Form

• CME: CME Attestation Form OR CME documentation from the past 2 years

• Health Status Statement completed by a provider other than the clinician

• Malpractice: $1M/$3M

• Flu Vaccine: Must be current for the same year

• TB: 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON Gold within the last 12 months
