Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Kearney, NE
Summary: We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join our team for inpatient coverage in a vibrant and welcoming facility. The practice operates within a 268-bed regional referral center that provides comprehensive care to the Kearney community. The provider should be comfortable with all OB/GYN procedures and is expected to manage daily rounds, handle consults, and respond to emergencies during the assignment. This role demands flexibility, as coverage is needed on a 24/7 basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section.
- Provide gynecology consultation and treatment as needed in the emergency department.
- Perform diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum.
- Conduct major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
- Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC with active LOQ.
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
- Availability at the time of credentialing name clear.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Nebraska medical license.
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
