PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Volume/Census: Outpatient: 18-22 patients per day; Inpatient: varies based on consults
  • Rounding: Daily rounding 1-2 hours based on consult volume
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR System: Meditech (80% paper, 20% EMR)
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Available
  • Credentialing Timeline: 4-8 weeks (RI NP License)
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Biopsies

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active RI NP license (or willingness to obtain); DEA and CSR required
  • Board: Board-Certified NP
  • DEA: Required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care to both outpatient and inpatient populations.
  • Perform daily rounding on inpatient consults (1-2 hours per day).
  • Manage outpatient patient volume of 18-22 patients per day.
  • Perform biopsies as needed.
  • Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR and paper charts.
