Part-time Respiratory Therapist - Louisiana

A healthcare organization in Louisiana is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Function Technologist to join its outpatient pulmonary diagnostics team!

Position Highlights:

• Part-time, 1099 independent contractor position

• Approximately 1 3 days per week, depending on clinic needs and territory

• Weekday outpatient clinic setting

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing, including spirometry

• Educate patients and guide them through testing procedures

• Ensure accurate and reliable diagnostic results

• Operate pulmonary testing equipment and related technology

• Work independently while maintaining professional relationships with clinic staff

• Travel to assigned outpatient clinic locations

Qualifications:

• Previous Respiratory Therapist or Pulmonary Function Technologist experience required

• Hands-on experience with spirometry and pulmonary diagnostic testing

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

• Availability for part-time weekday coverage
