A healthcare organization in the Columbia, SC area is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Function Technologist to join its outpatient pulmonary diagnostics team!
This is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking to pick up additional work alongside their current job, with flexible weekday scheduling and no nights, weekends, or holidays!
Position Highlights:

Part-time, 1099 independent contractor position

Flexible scheduling, 2 5 days per week

Weekday daytime hours only

No nights, weekends, or holidays

Outpatient pulmonary testing in primary care clinics

Independent work environment
-
Local travel within approximately 45 minutes
Responsibilities:

Perform pulmonary function testing, including pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry
-
Educate and coach patients through testing procedures
-
Ensure accurate results and upload completed tests for physician review

Monitor patient safety throughout testing
-
Maintain equipment and follow quality and safety protocols

Travel to assigned outpatient clinic locations
Qualifications:
-
Previous bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing experience required

Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and albuterol administration

Strong communication and patient care skills
-
Ability to work independently and travel between clinics

Availability for 2 5 weekdays per week

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
