A healthcare organization in the Corpus Christi, TX area is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Function Technologist to join its outpatient pulmonary diagnostics team!
This is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking to pick up additional work alongside their current job, with flexible weekday scheduling and no nights, weekends, or holidays!
Position Highlights:

Part-time, 1099 independent contractor position

Flexible scheduling, 1 5 days per week depending on clinic needs

Monday Friday daytime hours

No nights, weekends, or holidays

Outpatient pulmonary testing in primary care clinics

Independent work environment with a supportive team

Local travel to assigned clinic locations
Responsibilities:
-
Perform pulmonary function testing, including pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry

Educate and coach patients through testing procedures
-
Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients
-
Ensure accurate results and upload completed tests for pulmonologist review

Maintain equipment and follow quality and safety protocols

Travel to assigned outpatient clinic locations
Qualifications:
-
Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential required
-
Previous spirometry or pulmonary function testing experience
-
Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration

Strong communication and patient care skills
-
Ability to work independently and travel between clinics

Flexible weekday availability

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
