Blood Bank Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Lenexa, KS 66215 (Overland Park Area)

Shift: Evenings 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
Compensation: Competitive Pay + Shift Differential
We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the Overland Park, Kansas area.
This position is within a smaller laboratory dedicated exclusively to Blood Bank services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunohematology and enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized Blood Bank testing, including blood typing, antibody screening, identification, and compatibility testing.

Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory results.

Follow established quality control procedures and regulatory standards.

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving complex Blood Bank testing issues.

Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain high standards of patient care and laboratory efficiency.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field.

MT(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification.

MT candidates: Minimum 3 years of Blood Bank experience.

MLT candidates: Minimum 5 years of Blood Bank experience.

Strong knowledge of Blood Bank procedures, laboratory safety, and quality standards.
