Overview

In this role you partner with field leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, driving performance and an engaging employee experience. You will coach leaders, manage core HR functions, and use data to inform decisions across the retail region. The position supports cross-functional HR initiatives and culture programs within Sephora's values-driven environment. This is a remote, market-based role in the San Francisco Bay Area with regional travel. You will help shape leadership development and organizational effectiveness at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Regional Directors, District Managers, and Store Managers to align HR strategies with business goals and advise on talent decisions
  • Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, and leadership coaching
  • Lead engagement strategies, analytics, and culture initiatives to support high performance
  • Oversee employee relations investigations, compliance, and leave/accommodation processes
  • Coordinate cyclical HR programs and cross-functional initiatives; support ad hoc projects and process improvements
  • Travel 25-40% within assigned region
Key requirements
  • Progressive HR experience in HRBP or generalist roles
  • Proven leadership and relationship-building across all organization levels
  • Broad HR functional expertise in performance management, employee relations, compliance, and leave processes
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and tell a story with insights
  • Autonomous work style with ownership of outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; HR certifications preferred
